Ok, so the most common thing i hear when i ask guys about wedding registries is "that was painful!", i'm not surprised...the hours spent tralling through cups, saucers, glasses and crockery then writing down the codes, then faxing them off, then adjusting the mistakes that have been made in codes, then doing it all over again!..yes thats painful.

Coming from a Graphic Design background I can appreciate the small details and little quirks "daisy & Jack" incorperate into their designs.

Daisy & Jacks founder and creative director Soph has been working as a Graphic & Production Designer in Sydney, Australia for over 10 years now. She loves daisies, Sonny Terry & Brownie Mcghee, Johnny Cash and riding her bike in the afternoon sunshine.

It never fails to amaze her how something as simple as an expertly designed invitation can set the tone for a entire event.

The good folk at Daisy & Jack are not about being ‘on trend’ or keeping up with the Jones’ - each project is a unique labor of love, and designed to represent who you are and what matters most to you (which is a big one for us!).

My parents have had some wedding presents collecting dust in the cupboard for over 20 years now. Yep, they just can't bring themselves to throw away those presents they will never use. This is the sad sad story with so many wedding gifts.

Its Official!.....Were Live!

After many months of strenuous brain straining activity thinking about gifts, weddings, web code, and a launch party, we are finally live!..Yes From the Owl has finally launched, with the golden trifecta of a Gift registry + Wishing Well + Wedding website all wrapped up in a shiny new website.

We want put out a huge thanks to our friends and family for their helping hands and constructive feedback, with a special mention to the From the Owl office trio - Jess, Nadean and Marissa, for putting on a cracker of a launch party!
