www.fromtheowl.com (website) is owned and operated by From The Owl Pty Ltd (ACN 151 370 839). By using this website or by ticking the "I have read and agreed to the Terms and Conditions" box, you agree to and accept all the terms and conditions set out below. Pricing

All prices at fromtheowl.com are at supplier/service provider/manufacturer's recommended retail price (RRP) or, where RRP is unavailable, the price is set by From the Owl at an estimate of the market price. Suppliers recently change recommended retail prices, without prior notification, and From the Owl PTY LTD reserves the right to adjust its pricing in a similar fashion without prior notification.

Delivery & Service Charges

From the Owl does not charge the registered bridal couple for delivery to most Australian states. Regional deliveries in SA / QLD / WA/ NT/ TAS may incur extra charges per box or carton.

A nominal guest charge is added per item order for delivery and service.

  • $7.95 Sydney/NSW
  • $8.95 Melbourne/VIC
  • $9.95 Brisbane/QLD
  • $11.95 for SA/ WA/ NT/ TAS
  • an extra $10 per carton and or box maybe be charged to the couple for rural areas (most deliveries are about 5 boxes)

If an incorrect address or incorrect details are provided or not updated, you will be charged for the second re-delivery.

The Wishing Well is an added service offered by From the Owl. 6.5% of the total wishing well contributions will be deducted on closure, for credit card and service fees. From the Owl reserves the right to change these fees without notice at any time. 

Please note that store credit cannot be used to pay for any delivery fees. Alternatively, the registered bridal couple may choose to pick up their gifts from our showroom. Service fees cannot be removed from a list, or refunded to a couple or their guests, even if the couple decides to collect their gifts from our showroom.

Delivery Details

From the Owl will deliver all gifts from the approved and closed registry list to the bridal couple at a time, date and location agreed by both parties. For delivery within 30km's of the CBD in both Sydney and Melbourne, the time frame is approximately 3-4 weeks after the wedding and or close of registry list.

All gifts purchased for the bridal couple will, where possible, be consolidated and sent in one single bulk delivery. Because most of your gifts are ordered especially for you, this may delay their delivery to us at From the Owl by from the supplier.

At the discretion of From the Owl PTY LTD, some deliveries may be delayed to accommodate any back ordered or late delivered gifts from our suppliers. Due to delayed are back ordered products from suppliers, A second delivery may also be arranged for a later date. Please be aware that unusual, difficult to source or 'special order' gifts may further delay the delivery of your gifts. These supply issues are unfortunately outside of our control. From the Owl may also reserve the right to outsource any deliveries to independent transport service providers.

Large or bulky items, at the discretion of From the Owl, may be delivered in separate delivery and in some cases directly by the supplier. these products will be wrapped at the discretion of the supplier.

Orders

Any purchaser of goods or services from this website are charged when they complete an order with From the Owl. All Service fees will also be payable at this time. In some cases From the Owl may not accept orders if:

  • authorisation for your payment is not available; or
  • we identify a significant pricing or product description error.

We will attempt to contact the purchaser and or the registered couple to resolve any issue's.

After a registry has been closed and approved, the registered couple may exchange the value of any part-payments made towards gifts via contributions for any other products in our range. Any item that has been fully purchased cannot be exchanged.

Cancelled weddings

Should a wedding be cancelled, the bride and groom must immediately notify From the Owl in writing to confirm that the registry is to be closed.Guests who have purchased gifts from that couple's registry will have the choice of either accepting a refund of the purchase price paid, or may choose to keep the item paid for and nominate an alternative address to have the gift delivered to. If a guest chooses to have the gift delivered, From the Owl will charge the guest a delivery fee, the amount of delivery charged will depend on the nominated delivery address. Please note, This is the only circumstance where a refund is offered by From the Owl, an administrative charge of 10% of any monies refunded will be charged to the bridal couple, which the bride and/or groom will be liable to pay. There is no refund of the establishment or transaction fees paid for a cancelled Wedding Wishing Well.

Gift Storage

Couples who may require their gifts to be stored after their delivery is ready will be charged a storage fee of $50 per month. Couples will not be charged for gifts delayed by suppliers.

Credit

Any credit, you have available with From the Owl at the time of closing/finalising your gift registry, is valid for 12 months from the closed/finalised date of your registry.

Third Party links

All content of any third party websites that may be linked to fromtheowl.com is not and cannot be controlled or managed by us at From the Owl PTY LTD. From the Owl PTY LTD is therefore not responsible for any content of these other websites in any way.

Exchanges & Returns

Gifts will only be exchanged by From the Owl if they are faulty are damaged or may have been duplicated when packaged by us at From the Owl. If a registered couple receives a duplicate gift or item as the result of a guest also purchasing it elsewhere, From the Owl will not exchange the duplicate gift. All gifts at From the Owl are ordered especially for you, therefore we do not hold any stock.

Any gift that may need replacing due to fault or damage will be exchanged with the same or similar product or may be replaced with a From the Owl gifted vouchers for the amount of the gift's purchase price. Please note, this means cash refunds will not be given if gifts are found to be faulty or have been delivered damaged, We will do everything in our power to replace or substitute the faulty product.

If a gift has been damaged during delivery or may be faulty, please notify From the Owl in writing within 7 days of delivery. If you do not contact us witting this time you may not qualify for an exchange or credit. All damaged items are replaced or exchanged at the discretion of From the Owl PTY LTD. If From the Owl decides that the product was not damaged at the time of delivery and it is not covered by a manufacturer's warranty, replacement of the product or exchange for a credit voucher may not be offered.

Gifts will not be refunded if a guest changes their mind after purchase for any reason what so ever. If a guest believes they may have bought the wrong gift, they must contact From the Owl as soon as possible. We will do whatever we can help and have the correct gift is listed with their name against it.

Discontinued Items

All gifts listed at fromtheowl.com are an indication of their availability at the time though Suppliers frequently discontinue stock without prior notice. This is unfortunately beyond the control of From the Owl PTY LTD. If an item is unavailable or discontinued, From the owl will offer a similar product or provide the registered couple with a from the owl credit voucher for the value of the item which may be used to purchase any other products in our gift range. Under no circumstances will cash refunds be given.

From the Owl will not notify wedding guests that an item they have purchased may be discontinued or unavailable and have been changed or exchanged for a credit voucher.

From the Owl will not source any discontinued or unavailable products from any other retailer that have that particular or a similar product in stock. Cash refunds will not be given when gifts are unavailable for any reason, or under any circumstances (other than that described Cancelled Weddings).

Liablity

To the extent that From the owl is or maybe liable to you in relation to any services or goods ordered or purchased at from the owl PTY LTD, the liability of From the Owl PTY LTD is limited at our discretion to either a refund, replacement or repair of the goods or to a re-supply of the service. All claims for any indirect or consequential loss or damages are excluded and in no circumstances will From the Owl be liable to you in excess of any amount paid by you or on behalf of you, for any items on this website.

From the Owl makes every effort to ensure that the material on this website is free from error. However, we do not guarantee the accuracy and completeness of the information on our website, including pictures, descriptions and prices.

From the Owl PTY LTD has the right to decline or to manage any list.

Privacy

From the Owl will only collect any personal information where it is necessary to properly conduct its business and provide services to our registered couples and their guests. The collection of information may be in person, during a telephone conversations, or written by mail, email, fax, or by completing any online forms.

From the owl will not disclose your personal information to a third party for marketing purposes. Any personal information held by From the Owl PTY LTD is kept confidential, however if required, may disclose some personal information to certain third parties in certain situations where you would reasonably expect us to. Such instances might include but are not limited to.

  • Internal research, planning, accounting and administrative purposes
  • To enable third parties engaged by us on your behalf to provide goods or services to you.
  • For any reasonable financial, auditing or quality compliance purposes.
  • Any situation that may be required by law.

Use & Restrictions

Any Users of our website may not copy, reproduce, exploit or store any information from fromtheowl.com or any other part of From the Owl PTY LTD with out the written permission of From the Owl PTY LTD.

"Our website" includes but is not limited to designs and images. these are all property of From the Owl PTY LTD and may not be reproduced.

These Terms and Conditions are governed and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
